Process

1. Gathered older skin care icon designs from previous client projects for inspiration

2. Researched and wrote a list of the common skin types and skin conditions

3. Created a base face shape and features

4. Created the 12 vector designs in Adobe Illustrator using a monoline style

5. Exported each icon as a PNG and a SVG

Challenges

1. Have diverse icons without distracting from the skin types and conditions the icons represent

Solutions

1. Originally I was using different face shapes to show diversity, but the pack lost cohesion and the skin became background, so instead I kept the face the same across the pack, only changing the hair and skin type/condition across each icon
